Family Pathways Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Department is currently hiring a Director of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services to be responsible for the overall administration and leadership of the organization’s domestic violence (DV) and sexual assault (SA) programs. This includes the development, implementation, and evaluation of domestic violence, sexual assault, shelter, prevention, outreach and batterer’s treatment programs. The director position will provide administrative oversight of grants, fiscal management, reporting and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations. The director will oversee policies, procedures, and program coordination of services for clients. This position represents the organization in public arenas and promotes the mission of Family Pathways in the community and throughout the state. Further, the director carries out duties related to domestic violence and sexual assault personnel development, recruitment, training and supervision of program management and staff teams.
Who You Are?
- An advocate for DV/SA services with a bachelor’s degree or higher in social services or related area, with experience in DV/SA related fields.
- A leader and team player committed to advancing vision, mission, values and guiding principles, with management experience.
- Sensitivity and knowledge of the issues regarding domestic violence and sexual assault.
- Must believe in trauma informed model and be committed to ending all forms of interpersonal violence.
- Demonstrated passion to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, addiction and/or mental illness.
- Ability to view domestic violence holistically and offer supportive services to all involved: victim, children and perpetrator.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and confidential matters.
- Dependable and able to work independently.
- Skilled communicator with coworkers and clients.
- Passion for problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Quick learner and team player.
- Friendly, approachable, and client-focused.
