FULL-TIME VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR – NORTH BRANCH, MN

The Volunteer Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Family Pathways by recruiting, training, and engaging volunteers across all program areas—including the Food Shelf, Thrift Stores, Aging Services, and Domestic Violence Programs. This position ensures that volunteers feel valued, supported, and empowered to make a difference. You’ll work closely with program staff to match volunteers with opportunities where they can have the greatest impact, while ensuring an excellent experience for both the volunteers and the communities we serve. The Volunteer Coordinator champions Family Pathways’ core values: trust, collaboration, communication, integrity, respect, positivity, and creativity. 

Who You Are: 

  • Knowledgeable about recruitment, screening, interviewing, directing orientations, and training new, established, short-term, and long-term volunteers. 

  • Capable of collaborating with others to oversee volunteer scheduling, keep open communication, delegate projects, and execute volunteer recognition events, as well as volunteer recruitment fairs, while abiding by the department budget. 

  • Able to travel to different locations to meet with staff and volunteers, to assess needs and build relationships.  

  • Comfortable with maintaining volunteer files, keeping records of activities, preparing reports, volunteer risk management, volunteer compliance requirements, and managing database information through Abila and Volgistics. 

  • Excited to work with the Director of Advancement to communicate volunteer needs, successes, and participation opportunities for events and activities.

What You Get in Return  

  • Starting Salary: $22.00/Hour  

  • Work-Life Balance: Operating Hours: Monday-Friday 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
