Family Pathways is seeking a Director of Food Access Services focused on leading the Food Access Services Department to provide direct assistance to our communities, including food shelves, mobile food truck, Doorstep, food rescue, community advocacy, and other emergency food and self-sufficiency programs.
Who You Are?
- A graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher or 5+ years of related experience in social services, community/public health, nutrition, or other related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in the food insecurity field, i.e., food shelf, food rescue, food bank, or related community programming.
- 2+ years of management experience with staff and program operations.
- Demonstrated passion and understanding for working with diverse populations, including those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and/or mental illness.
- Passion for working for a mission-based organization.
- Solutions-orientated; ability to creatively problem solve and can plan, direct, and review the work of others with confidence and clarity.
- High attention to detail and flexible in nature.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- An ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information and confidential matters.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; excellent listening skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and client-focused.
